Horrifying? Not so... and heartbroken

Horrifying? Not so...

Today was my school's open day. My class teacher just came back from her honeymoon yesterday and she looked so so tired today. I really pity her... :( hope you rest well, my dear class teacher. And congrats btw!
Anyway, my mom came and take my report card. Well, as usual, she talked more than my teacher and my teacher was agreeing most of the time only. And I sat there quietly, most of the time too. haha.....

This is my overall result :

  • Malay language - 68 (B3)
  • English language - 71 (A2)
  • History/Sejarah - 45 (D7)
  • Modern Maths - 70 (A2)
  • Additional Maths - 32 (G9, fail, haih...unexpected)
  • Physics - 52 (C6)
  • Chemistry - 52 (C6)
  • Biology - 41 (E8)
  • P. Moral - 70 (A2)
Heartbroken Me :(

I'm still not over my x... I'm still so sad. I'm even more sad when I found out he's with another girl.... haih.... I'm feeling so lifeless and useless.... But the good thing is I don't know who is that girl. And I also really thank God that He (God) is always by my side, going through tough times with me, helping me and guiding me.
Well, the only song that really fits my condition most is A Little Too Not Over You by David Archuleta.

Oohhh oh, oh..

It never crossed my mind at all
It's what I tell myself
What we had has come and gone
You're better off with someone else
It's for the best, I know it is

But I see you
Sometimes I try to hide
What I feel inside
And I turn around
You're with HER now
I just can't figure it out

Chorus:
Tell me why you're so hard to forget
Don't remind me, I'm not over it
Tell me why I can't seem to face the truth
I'm just a little too not over you.
Not over you....

Memories, supposed to fade
What's wrong with my heart?
Shake it off, let it go
Didn't think it'd be this hard
Should be strong, movin' on

But I see you
Sometimes I try to hide
What I feel inside
And I turn around
You're with HER now
I just can't figure it out

(Chorus)

Maybe I regret, everything I said
No way to take it all back, yeah
Now I'm on my own
How I let you go, I'll never understand
I'll never understand, yeah... oohhh...
Oohhh, oohhh, oohhh...
Oohhh, oohhh, oohhhh.

(Chorus)

Tell me why you're so hard to forget
Don't remind me, I'm not over it
Tell me why, I can't seem to face the truth
And I really don't know what to do
I'm just a little too not over you
Not over you, oohhh....

Michael Jackson, the Legend

Rest in Peace, Michael Jackson, The Legend

Michael Jackson passed away... :( I'm not to say I'm a fan or whatsoever but this news shocked my mom, practically the whole world and I. I couldn't believe he just died like that.

He died on the 25th of June 2009 at 5.21 am (Malaysia time) at the age of 50+. His birthday is soon to come which is on 28 of August. According to news reports, he died due to cardiac arrest. He over exerted himself for during rehearsals for London concert (I think), according to the news report on radio. But according to E! News, it is said that the police are investigating the cause of his death.

Death of a showman

FOR a life so extraordinary the manner of Michael Jackson’s passing on Thursday June 25th was utterly banal: a 50-going-51-year-old man succumbing to an apparent heart-attack. (There was speculation that an alleged dependency on prescription painkillers may have been a contributing factor.) During his progress from child prodigy to the self-styled “King of Pop” and, more recently, an eccentric semi-recluse, no part of Mr Jackson’s private life had given any other hint of normality. But behind the mask that plastic surgeons had made of his face was a keen brain for wringing cash out of pop music—and for spending it.

Mr Jackson first performed on stage at the age of six, accompanying his four older brothers. The Jackson Five, under the strict stewardship of their manager and father, signed to Motown Records in the late 1960s and began producing a string of hit records—a sequence of success that Mr Jackson continued in a 30-year solo recording career. It is reckoned that his final tally of album sales is around 750m—the most that any artist has sold. And one of those, “Thriller”, released in 1982, became the most successful yet seen, shifting 65m units. This record may well remain unchallenged: sales of albums have suffered as pop fans these days prefer downloading individual tracks from the internet.

The length of Mr Jackson’s career ensured that he experienced, popularised and even pioneered many of the techniques that help artists to profit from their musical talents. At the beginning of his career, touring was a vital component of performers' incomes, though a shift to earning money from selling records was well under way. By its peak, in the 1980s, touring had come to be seen by the music industry as a loss-making promotional tool to shift albums.

Mr Jackson did not invent the pop promotional video, as he is sometimes credited with doing. But he took this art form to new heights with the lavishly expensive video he made in 1983 for the title track of the “Thriller” album. He brought in one of Hollywood's top directors, John Landis (best known for “The Blues Brothers”), and spent an unprecedented $500,000 on the 14-minute miniature epic. But it was money well spent: the launch of MTV, two years earlier, whose format was being copied by other broadcasters, meant that videos had rapidly become one of the most valuable tools for marketing recorded music, and more cost-effective than concert tours. The “Thriller” video was broadcast incessantly all around the world, pumping up the album's sales.

At the height of his success Mr Jackson and his team of managers made the shrewd calculation that the value of pop music was wrapped up in the publishing rights to songs just as much as in record sales. In 1985 he paid $47.5m for ATV Music, which owned the copyrights to most of the Beatles' songs. Ten years later he sold half his interest for $150m to Sony. The value of his stake was probably around $500m when he died. This was roughly equal to the upper estimates of the debts he was struggling to refinance, which he had amassed funding his increasingly bizarre style of living.

Despite his vast earnings Mr Jackson was forced to borrow huge sums against his stake in ATV and his future earnings (recently to be about $19m a year) to pay for his huge shopping sprees and the upkeep of “Neverland”, his ranch in California. Last year he announced plans for a long series of concerts in London to boost his income and pay off his creditors. Playing live has re-emerged as the way to make money from pop as falling sales, rampant piracy and digital distribution have slashed revenues from recorded music.

Despite having built himself an extravagant fun palace, with its own zoo, fairground and elaborate topiary, Mr Jackson cut an increasingly lost and lonely figure in his later years. Though twice married and with three children, his closest relationships appeared to be with a chimpanzee and a succession of young boys. The questions raised by these unusual friendships continued to hang in the air until his death. He was acquitted in a Californian court in 2005 on charges of molesting one 13-year-old boy but reportedly paid $20m out of court in 1994 to head off other allegations of child abuse.

His status as a pop genius may well always be tainted by the strangeness of the life he chose to lead. Elvis Presley, still the unchallenged King of Rock’n’Roll, is increasingly remembered for his music, as memories fade of his own unusual private life. Mr Jackson would doubtless have craved to be held in the same public awe and affection (his dynastic ambitions even stretched to a brief marriage with Lisa Marie, Presley’s only child). But, sadly, for now he will be remembered by many as “Wacko Jacko” rather than the King of Pop.

Bad start after 2nd semester holiday

Bad start after 2nd semester holiday

My first day (15 June 2009) of skul after long hols is bad... This is why:
  1. Had a few results back. and I failed add maths... I didn't expect to fail. I expected a pass. Even my add maths tuition teacher got a shock.
  2. I was told by Ken that he saw HS in Sunway Pyramid walking with ONE girl. I was so saddened that I teared a bit...
  3. I went for Prayer Meeting in 4 Beta for around 2nd time this year. and I felt a lil unwelcome 'coz when I went in, there's around 5 or 6 ppl stopped talking and sort of stared at me as if saying, "What in the world is she doing here?"
  4. I had accounts exam today in tuition.. did not do that well..
Then, yesterday (19 June 2009)
  1. Ken go say so loud bout HS again during recess in the 'CF table'. He said that he asked HS for the gal's name but HS refused to tell... I was hurt for the 2nd time... haih...
  2. ZM told me about the guy I like. She said that he's not a good guy and ask me to forget about him. (No worries, she's not betraying me. She's my good friend. I trust her.) I will try to forget about him but it might take some time. but forgetting HS, it's so hard. This is the 6th month I'm trying to forget about him but still can't. Good for HS, he forgot about me already....
  3. I cried last night while listening to emo songs. I'm so thankful that my mom didn't come up during that period of time.
I have a few prayer items :
  • Subang Rally 2009
  • Recess Revolution
  • Hari Koperasi
  • Family's Day
  • Talent Quest
  • school teachers
  • Nat's dog. just found that the dog has heart problems
  • Nat's toe will be healed from pain
  • my right leg will heal from unknown pain
  • blessings and protection upon each and everyone
  • Kee Seng (one of my group members of HAR, a non-christian) that God will touch his heart one day
I have a few more but can't remember for now.

toodles!

CF Camp (Part 2)

CF Camp (Part 2)

All the pictures below are randomly placed :

Aww... so sweet... Big brother, VJ is treating his lil sis, VV

Beautiful nature and view, blessing from God, in the morning from outside dorm area

ahh... Fresh air in the morning. On the right of the picture is the guys' dorm

Jason's "reward" for the cry baby for guy category

That picture is taken during crazy night for the prize giving for Amazing Race. He sort of cried a lot for the Amazing Race that's why he got the award and the diaper is his prize. Oh and the leg there is Chan Tong, the cameraman for the camp. =D

Aaaaa
These two boys (Clement/"Clayman" and Nehe) made a signature for CF Camp 2009. They started a-ing and people just start following. The reason they were called out by Mr Jacob is because they did it alike (sorry, didn't download the video into computer yet). The mouth taping thing and saying aaa with the tape there was a surprise for them.. They were asked to close their eyes while a few committee and seniors started taping their mouth.

This is how girls' dorm looks like

This is the toilet. 4 Cubicles and public shower in the toilet. (just don't bother the girl there)

Michelle and I waiting in the bus on the last day

There are more to come =)

and we got 4th overall. I'm happy and thankful to God for having all of you as my group members even though many of you are quiet. =)

Hmm... Ok let me start with the first day.

Nat and I took picture in school canteen while waiting for bus to arrive

We left school about 3.10pm and reached at Nur Lembah Pangsur, Hulu Langat about 4.20pm. Then we had briefing, know our groups and get our booklets. We then later went to our respective dorms to clean ourselves. Nat and I went in late so we didn't really get to choose. Anyway, anywhere you sleep it's practically the same because it's still... erm... undiscribable. The toilet last year was way much better. Then we had dinner, Praise and worship and Video, movie to be exact (Left Behind). It was a great movie and it's better than the one I've watched. Then, we went back to our dorms and LIGHTS OUT!

Second day, I woke up quite early at 5.58am so I can shower in cubicles instead of in public. Unfortunately, all of us thought the same. 2 dorms same toilet (connected). So imagine how many girls had to take turns. Then had devotion with my group members. They were so so quiet that we even finish in 15 mins. Later, we had breakfast (the milo O' is so not drinkable, imagine milo plus lots of sugar and water), session 1, lunch and get ready for jungle trekking and rafting. The jungle trekking was great. And what's greater was the waterfall. It was so AMAZING! Thank God for His creation! After coming back to that "resort", we had rafting. We had it in this lake or whatever you call this :

There were dead fishes floating so you should understand what I'm trying to say without explaination....

After rafting, we had shower, dinner in groups so can bond with each other but my group was so quiet. We had another session after dinner. During altar call, I responded and I would like to say thank you Pastor's wife for praying for me. We had supper (not for group leaders, had short meeting for discussion) then to dreamland aka sleep.

Following day, same routine until lunch. Btw, devotion time, a few more of my group members spoke. I'm glad =) We then get ready for Amazing Race. Most of the tasks were okay but some are undescribable. My group got the 8th placing because of my clumsiness (leaving clues in the bag and asking one of my group members who were not playing 'cause she got injured to keep the bag). Overall, it was tiring but I enjoyed myself. We rushed to shower and timing were delayed from scheduled for dinner. After dinner, we had session 4. I went for the altar call and Pastor Les Lee prayed for me. Thx Pastor! After session, we had crazy night! Crazy night is something to do with bonding with group members. Even though, my group had last minute changes, we did well and got 3rd for the cheer. I'm proud of all of you. Good job and thx lots! Woohoo! HART Rox! I slept about 3+ am that morning/night as group leaders had our last discussion.

Last and final day, we were allowed to wake up half an hour later but I still woke up early. I took shower and the water was freezing cold. I feel uncomfortable not showering in the morning, so no choice. Most people woke up late. I even saw Nehe brushing teeth while walking to the hall. We then had last devotion, breakfast, last session, photo session, pack and leave campsite. We left about 2.50pm and reached school about 3.50pm.

Overall, I totally enjoyed myself, maybe except the toilet and the bed as well as the food for certain meals, even though I was tired. I really had a great time. And SEE YOU IN CAMP 2010 though I'm leaving school this year and hopefully I can visit you all next year.

Other random pictures:

Future Doctor Eugene maybe?

Candid shot of Eric

Calson looks so pinkish in Matt Lai's jacket

There are more pictures to come, most likely. So be patient.

SEE YOU IN CAMP 2010

Physics formula almost related to my old nickname

Physics formula almost related to my old nickname

I forgot to mention last week, when I was studying my physics on heat chapter, suddenly a formula just popped up in my head which is:

I=Qt jo

which translates I=Cutiejo , Cutiejo is my old nickname btw...

Yea I know lame but I find it kinda cool. And I know you heard of this formula before as well. The original formula is:

Q=It

Unfair mom

Unfair mom

My mom's so unfair! I only can go online 2 hours maximum in a fortnight while other people/friends go online 4 to 6 hours PER week. Then, when I'm online, I'm not allowed to play games. Playing games are like one of the ways to release stress, anger, frustrations or whatsoever. Her tight control now is making me going more insane.

I think my mom and my friend's mom are sharing their characters after more than a year 'cause now my mom has my friend's mom's tight control of her children excess of internet and even when going out.

My mom even said I'm like Ian (my friend's brother) 'cause addicted to internet games. I play how long only, half an hour or 1 hour the most? She only know how to watch television, read newspaper and scold. Other than that, she also said I'm like my sister. I comment a bit, she say I argue wanna be my sister. I'm different. I AM ME! Be awake, mommy, I AM ME! No one can replace me.

Btw, if I offended anyone for whatever mentioned in this post, I sincerely apologize.
